What matters?

 

You matter! JESUS CHRIST says you matter! Two thousand years ago, Jesus said it was all about you when He spoke these words, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life!" (John 3:16)

 

No one is promised tomorrow, as one Evangelist once said, "Tomorrow is a day found only in a fools calendar." We are only promised now. Now is the time to make the most important decision of your life, and time to choose the One who placed you on this planet to fulfill the purpose and plan that He has for your life.

 

This is how it starts: believe in your heart that Jesus came to this planet for you, that he lived on this planet for you, that He died on this planet for your sins, and that He rose again on the third day for you--conquering death, hell, and the grave! The greatest history book on the planet--the Bible--states not only to place your hope, faith, and trust in Jesus, but also to confess it with your mouth (Romans 10:9-10). So if you are ready to begin a relationship with the One who has given you natural life, pray the following prayer to the One who will now give you eternal life through His gift to you--Himself!

 

Pray:

Lord Jesus, I recognize and confess to you that I am a sinner, and I need a Savior. I believe in my heart that you died on the cross for my sin, I believe that you rose again from the grave three days later, and now sit at the right hand of the Father, interceding on behalf of me. I confess with my mouth that these events are true, and I ask You to be my Lord and Savior. I surrender my life to You, now live Your life through me. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer, you are now a new creature in Christ, and your name is written and secured in Heaven in what the Bible calls the Lamb's Book of Life. We encourage you now to read the Bible, starting in one of the Gospels, located within the first four books of the New Testament. Also become a part of a Bible-teaching, Jesus-preaching, Spirit-filled church!
